The Blazer is the same general profile as the Genius cricket bat and is endorsed by the 'Little Master' but is made from grade 2 English willow. This is a very traditional Asian shaped bat, a big bowed blade with slightly lower middle and very thick edges giving a huge profile and as a result is only available in weights from 2.10 lbs and upwards. The Blazer is made from grade 2 English willow clefts, typically 5-7 straight grains with possibly some slight blade blemishes and upto 1.5cm brown wood down one edge, fitted with a round three sprung traditional cane handle. Each Blazer bat is also supplied with a full length bat cover.
This bat is suited to drives and cross bat shots with it's massive edges, possibly on slower, lower paced pitches. These bats have big profiles and have proved very popular and suited to English conditions for batsmen working to sub £100 budget. A very good buy offering quality and value.
