The BDM Fire has a traditional profile with thick edges and a bowed blade, the edges are contoured and profiled to remove weight in key areas to keep the pick up and balance light without compromising the profile, power and size of the hitting zone and sweetspot. These bats are manufactured from a good selection of lower grade English willow (see pictures below) and are fitted with a 9 ply rounded cane handle. Each bat is also fitted with a toe guard and comes complete with a bat cover.
The Fire is a decent grade bat suited to most conditions, the pick up and balance are good, the edges are extra pressed for durability and the profile provides a large sweet spot in the traditional mid to low position. This is a great bat for those on a budget looking for a tough, durable bat that will perform and is available in light weights.
