The Genius cricket bat is used and endorsed by the 'Little Master' himself Sachin Tendulkar. This is a very traditional Asian shaped bat, a big bowed blade with slightly lower middle and very thick edges giving a massive profile and as a result is only available in heavier weights, anything 2.10 lbs and below is remarkable, usually 2.11 lbs and upwards. The Limited Edition (X) version is picked from the very best premium English willow clefts, at least 7 straight grains (usually more) and a perfectly clean blade, fitted with a round three sprung traditional cane handle. Each Genius LE(X) bat is also supplied with a padded bat cover.
This bat is suited to drives and cross bat shots with it's massive edges, possibly on slower, lower paced pitches, but as the LE(X) has such a massive amount of wood it can be used on bouncier pitches where the ball usually strikes higher up the blade.
