This bat is designed to reflect the requirements of the cricketer who respects his equipment and wants to have an advantage when choosing the correct bat. The willow is selected from about 80% of the finest two grades of willow that L&W import into New Zealand, we would normally have at least five hundred pieces of Heritage willow in stock at any one time for the bat maker to select the best suited piece for your bat. The Heritage is finished to the same high standards as the Private Bin and is also fully customisable. The Heritage bat is available in one of three basic shapes;
Traditional English shape, flat and
straight blade with steep ridge spine
running down the back of the bat, medium sized tapering edges, huge profile.
Traditional Asian shape, huge
lower bulge and sweetspot, thick edges,
curved blade, rounded back.
Bowed blade with well mid-placed
middle, steep spine but with concave
back panes giving huge edges and lighter weights.
