Hero Honda (Motorbikes) and Britannia (Biscuits) are
Indian companies that do not make cricket bats. They
simply sponsor Indian Test Cricketers and sell locally
produced very inexpensive cricket bats to the kids of India to gain exposure of their brand names and logos to the Asian consumers. The labels we supply come from the manufacturer of these labels in India and are supplied and intended for advertising and display purposes only.
The bats we sell are not endorsed by Hero Honda or Britannia. The bats used by the Indian test players are sourced from many different companies throughout India and have sponsors logos attached as appropriate.
Available weights: 2.11 & 2.12 lbs
The major Indian stars often use bats labelled with Hero Honda or Britannia but the bats predominently come from the major bat makers in India - one of those is SS whose TON logo adorns the blade of many a test match bat. Finally, we are able to present the original SS Professional grade 1 English willow cricket bat either as the original bat or relabelled to look like the record
breaking bat shown left.
SS bats have big bowed blades and massive edges, they are also well pressed to give good performance, durability and that ping factor when you know you've hit the ball well. The bats are SH only and the handles are essentially round, traditional 3 sprung cane.
