The list below shows a range of junior bats from our asian suppliers specially selected for their quality at their price points, from the inexpenive for the beginners to the top end junior grade 1 bats all at fair and realistic prices. We are sure there is something in there to suit your particular requirements.

Generally we would recommed a kashmir willow bat for a young child just starting out in cricket, basically because of their low price, if your child gives up in a few months then its not too much money to worry about, also if your child is mainly a bowler and has little interest in batting but still needs his/her own bat. Kashmir willow bats can also be useful as a second or practice bat, saving a more expensive english willow bat for match use where they will gain the best from it. However as your child develops and gets better then you should consider an English willow bat, these are the best quality and offer better performance, certainly at the 12/13 year old group and above. If you need any help selecting the ideal junior bat please don't hesitate to e-mail us for advice.
Junior size bats of quality can often be very difficult to source and very expensive. It is not usually in the manufacturer's best interest to use an adult size cleft of willow that they can turn into a £150+ adult bat, to make a junior bat that would retail at £100 or less. Often inferior and bleached clefts are used to create bats that look nice but do not have the quality to allow a junior to have confidence in the performance of their bat.
