In wine making the Private Bin is reserved for only the very finest selection of vintage wines and the same selection applies to the Private Bin Cricket Bat. Each bat is made from the top 20% of the highest specification English willow; many hours of care and attention go into the highly regulated grading system. Private Bin bats will all have a minimum of seven straight grains and have a balance perfectly suited to your requirements. Traditional English shape, flat and
straight blade with steep ridge spine
running down the back of the bat, medium sized tapering edges, huge profile.
Traditional Asian shape, huge
lower bulge and sweetspot, thick edges,
curved blade, rounded back.
Bowed blade with well mid-placed
middle, steep spine but with concave
back panes giving huge edges and lighter weights.
